Crimson Rock

Crimson Rock is a city that is located in dry badlands to the North of the Rock Pearl. It is known for its industrious nature and ambition to be first in every aspect, ranging from science to banking. The city has limited access to water, and not much vegetation, but an abundance of minerals and sunlight. Its most valuable resource is risk-takers who felt like Solar Dale was not open to accepting their crazy ideas.

The city of Crimson Rock is often compared to Solar Dale, which is viewed as too dull by those who come to Crimson Rock. The city has a rough climate and a high tolerance for even the weirdest ideas, making it where one often wins big or loses a lot. Those who don't make a ground-breaking discovery or an intelligent investment often become independent prospectors or travel across the desert up to the Twisted Chain.

The Marry River connects Crimson Rock to its bigger sister to the North, the Badlands Snake. Most farmers prefer to live along its right bank, where the land is better for growing azure agave and honey rocks. The goods can be easily transported along the coast to Solar Dale and further exported to the Old World.

Crimson Rock produces a lot of electricity from its abundance of sunny days. This energy is used to start building desalination centers along the coast. The goal of the Crimson Rock chapter of Profit Priests, under the guidance of Hibo Ngoy, is to turn Crimson Rock into one of the major agrarian centers in the world.

Solar power stations power Glenn Hughes' airship factory. The airship factory is known for its swift and luxurious zeppelins running on next-generation batteries and its innovative ways of making their cabins. The entire hulls are being literally grown using the patented minerals amalgamation technology.

The Land of Apparitions to the Southwest of Crimson Rock is not recommended for flights due to its magnetic anomalies that make electronic devices go crazy. The Bounty Blades have long been trying to plan the proper logistics to reach this peculiar remote area.

Despite the spirit of competition with Solar Dale, citizens of Crimson Rock often grow tired of living amidst nowhere and travel for a week to the much greener capital. Both citizens of Solar Dale and Crimson Rock get along just fine despite now and then cracking jokes at each other's expense that are based on mostly accurate stereotypes.
